Evening of Dance, May 2026
Elmhurst University

For the May 2026 spring concert at Elmhurst University, I choreographed Kinetics for the Advanced Ballet course and That’s Life!, a playful contemporary sextet inspired by the unpredictability and repetition of life. Kinetics emerged from my own physical response to music and focused on continuity, texture, and evolving movement quality, while That’s Life! leaned into theatricality, humor, resilience, and the joy of ensemble performance.

Shining Tribute, Case Western Reserve University

Returning to Case Western Reserve University for With Gratitude was a deeply meaningful experience. The alumni performance celebrated the lasting impact and leadership of Karen Potter as she stepped down as department chair, bringing together generations of dancers connected through her mentorship, artistry, and care. Performing in Shining Tribute, choreographed by Karen Potter, felt both reflective and full circle, honoring the community and artistic legacy she helped cultivate.

Evening of Dance, November 2025
Elmhurst University

During my first semester as Adjunct Faculty at Elmhurst University, I presented two original works in the November 2025 Evening of Dance. Where We Dream was a ballet septet rooted in softness, openness, and traditional ballet vocabulary, while Liminality explored the experience of existing within transitional and in-between spaces through a larger contemporary ensemble. Creating these works during my first semester of teaching allowed my creative and educational practices to grow alongside one another.

IADMS Conference,
September 2025

Presenting at the International Association for Dance Medicine & Science conference in Las Vegas, NV was a meaningful milestone in my career as my first professional presentation within the field of dance science and wellness. Alongside my mom, Christina M. Christie, we presented research on integrating the PelvicorePro and the Pelvic Core Neuromuscular System into dancer wellness and training practices to a community of artists, educators, researchers, and healthcare professionals. The experience deepened my interest in bridging dance, education, and wellness while contributing to conversations centered around sustainable and informed dancer training.
